By creating an account or using the WIN Gender Balance Tracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

The WIN Gender Balance Tracker is an AI-powered gender balance analysis tool designed for news media content. The service is operated by the WAN-IFRA WIN Programme.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, disrupt, or interfere with the service.
  • Submit illegal content for analysis.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the service.
  • Attempt to bypass or compromise any security mechanisms.
  • Submit content that you do not have the legal right to analyze.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you submit and the generated reports based on your submissions. Analysis results may be used by you for internal purposes. The platform software, branding, UI, and underlying methodology remain the exclusive property of WAN-IFRA.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The analysis provided by the tool is advisory only and does not constitute legal or editorial advice. The service is provided strictly on an "as is" basis without any warranties. WAN-IFRA is not liable for any decisions made based on the analysis results.

7. Service Availability

We provide the service on a best-effort basis. During the MVP phase, there is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) or guaranteed uptime. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time, typically with reasonable notice.

8. Account Termination

You may request the deletion of your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France and applicable EU regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
